Pak Cultural Society held a cultural evening on 14 August 2009
Pak Cultural Society was established with a view to promote and support awareness of Pakistani culture in a multi-cultural environment and diverse community. Its prime objective is to provide a platform for promoting cultural activities and social cohesion, celebrate important occasions, with special emphasis to develop the creative skills of the youth in the field of art and culture, singing and music, stage and speech and above all perform on stage such acts to give a message of understanding of social and cultural values.
Pak Cultural Society organises a number of events throughout the year in East London. In addition to organising events, the society also supports young children to learn and promote creating skills in their chosen areas and art and culture with the aim to achieve the desire objectives.
The Society is a non-profit making, voluntary group and has the support of the local community and public representatives.
Formally established in 2008, Pak Cultural Society has already successfully delivered events on the occasion of Pakistan Day, Independence day and Eid celebrations. We aim to soon include another chapter in our projects to recognise, encourage and celebrate the success of young children achieveing better results in their academic, sporting or cultural life.
